I am babysitting my 4 month old granddaughter today and she absolutely loved dancing to this song and me singing it to her as well. She's her papa's and grandpa's girl for sure. I started with the sketch, a coffee filter and some Gelli prints to make a page in my journal with the lyrics. The back gel print was with a large piece of cardboard with the backing pulled off. It makes nice textured lines. The front piece is made with a sink mat. I had added colored pencil definition to the print with colored pencils and Gelatos and fussy cut the edges. I cut a blue gel print for my horizontal pieces. I used a fine point brown market to write the main lyrics around the edges, and a Sharpie to add the chorus to the I Am They song

This is so nice Gail!! I love the colors of the eggs and how you pulled that blue out for the sentiment!! Awesome!!! So nice that you get to spend time with your granddaughter. :>)
I love when that song comes on the radio--helps keep me awake on my long drive to work. I like you are creating memories with your granddaughter (those are special times) and you are saving those memories in a journal that can be shared.
